rozpocznie się już w najbliższy piątek, 21 czerwca i potrwa do 30 czerwca. Hasłem przewodnim tegorocznej edycji będzie Ziemia.

Ponad 250 wydarzeń poświęconych Ziemi, aby poczuć ją wszystkimi zmysłami i lepiej zrozumieć. Aby lepiej zrozumieć ziemię Kazimierza, Polski, Ziemię Izraela.

Sercem 29. FKŻ będzie Namiot, który specjalnie na tę okazję stawiamy w sercu żydowskiego Kazimierza – u zbiegu ulic Józefa i Wąskiej. To tam odbędą się warsztaty (muzyczne, artystyczne, kulinarne), wykłady, spotkania literackie, zajęcia dla seniorów i młodzieży, koncerty, imprezy DJ-skie. Koncerty – zarówno te w synagodze Tempel, jak też w Hevre, Alchemii i Muzeum Żydowskim Galicja – pokażą Wam, jak ziemia, na której mieszkamy stymuluje różnorodność. Finałem festiwalu będzie jak co roku koncert „Szalom na Szerokiej” – w sobotę, 29 czerwca od godziny 18.00.

This coming Friday, June 21st will be the first day of 29th Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow, Poland. This year we will speak about the earth.

More than 250 events in festival’s program will discuss our attitude towards the earth, towards the land we live on, land that helped creating our identity, the land we yearn for. We will speak about Kazimierz, Kraków, Poland and Israel.

In numerous series of workshops, lectures, discussions, happenings, guided tours you will personally experience different ways people love earth. Concerts will show you how the place we live can influence diversity. Most of the festival events will be held in our Tent of Meetings that we put up especially for the upcoming edition of the festival at the corner of Józefa and Wąska streets.  Traditionally, Shalom on Szeroka Street concert will be a culmination of the festival – it will be held on June 29th, 2019.
