Janusz Makuch – założyciel i dyrektor FKŻ jest pierwszym laureatem Nagrody im. Ireny Sendlerowej (2008). W tym roku otrzymają go Zuzanna Radzik i Adam Bartosz.
Ceremonia wręczenia nagrody odbędzie się w synagodze Tempel przed koncertem marokańskiej muzyki żydowskiej w wykonaniu Raymonde & The Euroepans, a nagrodę wręczy Shana Penn, Dyrektor Wykonawcza Fundacji Taubego, fundatora nagrody (26.06, synagoga Tempel, 19.00).
O 22.00 w Alchemii gość z innej epoki: Uzi Navon i jego zespół The Experiences zabierze Was w podróż do epoki big beatu.
Yosi Klein Halevi zastanowi się Jak współdzielimy Ziemię Świętą (Namiot FKŻ, 26.06, 17.00), a w swoim kolejnym wykładzie – już w czwartek – opowie, jak Polska zmieniła jego życie. W wieczornym spotkaniu w ramach Programu Literackiego Monika Sznajderman opowie o swojej książce Pusty Las.
A od 21 – OFF Radio Kraków będzie nadawało na żywo z Namiotu FKŻ: Aneta Hudzik i Anna Prokop zapraszają na Kocyk – pierwszy raz pod namiotem. Możecie słuchać on-line!

Award ceremony, with participation of Shana Penn, Executive Director of the Taube Foundation, will take place on Wednesday, June 26th at 19.00, before the concert of Moroccan Jewish music performer by Raymonde & The Euroepans.
Uzi Navon and his group The Experiences are our guests from the past – from a big beat era. They will take you on a journey in time that starts at 10 pm at Alchemia club.
Yosi Klein Halevi during his lecture will attempt to answer the question How We Share the Holy Land? (Tent, 26.06, 17.00), and the next day, during his second lecture he will tell you how Poland changed his life.
Monika Sznajderman, one of the most important contemporary Polish writers will present her recent book The Empty Forest as a part of the Literary Program of the 29th JCF.
Literary program of the 29th JCF is organized in partnership with Krakow Festival Office, operator of Kraków UNESCO City of Literature program.
