Tauron Arena is a high-class facility that makes it possible to organize large cultural and sporting events in the city. In recent years, it has dramatically increased the number of well-known international stars who have performed in Kraków, as well as providing a stage for local artists. Tauron Arena, which can accommodate up to 20,000 spectators, is one of Europe’s largest sports and entertainment halls. Since its opening in 2014, it has become a magnet, attracting spectators from all over the country and from abroad.
The coming year will also continue this tradition at Tauron Arena. David Guetta, one of the most famous DJs in the world, will be performing and Depeche Mode too will make a stop on their global tour to promote their latest album ‘Spirit’ on 7th February. On 8th April Tauron Arena will belong to the Kelly Family, the family band that gained enormous popularity in the 1990s, selling more than 20 million records. The group have just resumed live performances after a break of many years. In Kraków, they will play tracks from their latest album, which includes their old hits as well as new songs. The famous Metallica rock band, which is extremely popular in Poland, will also perform at the Kraków concert hall, and this without doubt will be a great musical event.
Tauron Arena also organises sporting events and huge shows. It has already been the venue for important tennis, handball, hockey or volleyball matches at the highest level. The hall has hosted wonderful ice shows and famous ensembles performing classical ballet. 2018 will not lack similar events, and these, of course, will encourage much interest. It is expected the Cirque de Soleil with their OVO show, which has already been seen by five million worldwide since its premiere in 2009, will be one of the attractions. The show includes 50 artists from 14 countries.

Od otwarcia w 2014 roku stała się magnesem, który przyciąga widzów z całego kraju i z zagranicy.
Nadchodzący rok zacznie się w Tauron Arenie od mocnego akcentu. Już w styczniu wystąpi tam David Guetta, jeden z najsłynniejszych DJ-ów świata, którego występy i nagrania cieszą się olbrzymią popularnością. 7 lutego przystanek na swojej globalnej trasie zrobi w Tauron Arenie zespół Depeche Mode. Będzie tam promował swą najnowszą plytę „Spirit”. 8 kwietnia zawita w Tauron Arenie Kelly Family. Rodzinny zespół zdobył olbrzymią popularność w ostatniej dekadzie XX wieku, sprzedał ponad 20 milionów płyt. Po latach przerwy grupa powróciła do występów na żywo. W Krakowie zaprezentuje swą najnowszą płytę ze swymi dawnymi przebojami i nowymi utworami. W końcu tego samego miesiąca w krakowskiej hali pojawi się z koncertem słynny zespół rockowy Metallica. W Polsce cieszy się on olbrzymią popularnością. Zapowiada się więc wielkie wydarzenie muzyczne.
Tauron Arena umożliwia również na pokazanie wielkich imprez sportowych i widowisk. Odbywały się tam już wielkie mecze tenisowe, najwyższej rangi imprezy w piłce ręcznej, hokeju czy piłce siatkowej. Występowały tam wielkie rewie na lodzie, słynne zespoły baletowe z klasycznym repertuarem. Podobnych, cieszących się wielkim zainteresowaniem widzów imprez nie zabraknie i w roku 2018. Zapowiedziany jest występ Cirque do Soleil ze spektaklem OVO, który od premiery w 2009 roku na całym świecie zobaczyło już 5 milionów osób. W widowisku występuje 50 artystów z 14 krajów.
