There are two hotels that were built only five years ago and although they comprise one complex, which is almost in the centre of old Kraków, their surroundings have undergone an unprecedented transformation in this short time. When the ibis Kraków Stare Miasto and the ibis budget Kraków Stare Miasto received their first guests, the main railway station, which is located close-by. was still undergoing its extensive renovation to make it the most modern station in the country, a station where many long-distance railway connections, both national and international interconnect. Both hotels belong to ORBIS S.A., and thus to the Accor network, and can now be accessed via a subway straight from the station platforms. During the modernization, the station gained a direct connection with the airport terminal in Kraków Balice, and the continuation of this line, but in the opposite direction, means one of the greatest Polish tourist attractions, the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, can be reached within 15 minutes. Until recently, the hotels were still surrounded by one of the last undeveloped plots in the city centre. Today, high-class office buildings, where thousands will soon find work in international and domestic companies, are under construction.
– Only one thing has not changed in the neighbourhood. The distance from the doors of our hotels to St. Florian’s Gate. and the historic centre of Kraków, is a leisurely five minute walk, smiles Maciej Naziębłło, the director of both hotels. – The location is one of the two main assets of our hotels. The other is the sixty people employed here, who look after the well-being and comfort of our guests every day, adds the director.
The ibis Kraków Stare Miasto is a three star hotel with 135 rooms and its one-star sister hotel has 167 rooms. The complex also has several conference rooms, a restaurant and an underground car park. Both hotels are run in compliance with the standards developed by Accor from their decades of experience in the hotel business.
The director estimates that half of the guests at the hotels are tourists and the other half are in Kraków on business. Every year, 100,000 people from all over the world stay here. – They often emphasize that when planning their stay in Kraków, they choose our hotels because they are sure that they will get exactly what the Accor network guarantees in hotels of that standard around the world. Hotele w epicentrum Krakowa

Te dwa hotele powstały zaledwie pięć lat temu. Leżą w jednym kompleksie niemal w środku starego Krakowa, a jednak ich otoczenie przeszło w tak krótkim czasie niebywałą ewolucję.
