Białka Tatrzańska started this year’s winter season as a full-fledged ski station which guarantees perfect conditions for those who love skiing in all its different guises. This is not only because of the nine cable cars and seven ski lifts which operate to link the 16 km of ski runs that are now part of one interconnected system on the slopes of Kotelnica, Bania and Kaniówka – with snow guns available if necessary! – but additionally, because there are excellent cross-country ski trails, an ice rink, geothermal pools and more and more better and better accommodation.
The station has been able to boast of new lifts almost each and every year. However, no further additions have been planned by the owners for the season 2016/17. Instead, the focus has been on the completion of two cable cars, those known as numbers 8 and 9. This has meant the construction of new roads leading to their lower stations, parking spaces and a tank for the water used for artificial snow-making. The system of free ski buses that run between the cable-cars’ lower stations has also been improved.
Thus, the skiing infrastructure in Białka is both modern and efficient. Some lifts are heated, some can carry six people and some even have wind shields – they also have safety systems which allow young children under 120 cm tall to use them without parental supervision..

Białka Tatrzańska ging in die diesjährige Wintersaison als ein ausgereifter Skiort, der den Liebhabern dieses Sportes und des Fitnesstrainings ausgezeichnete Erholung garantiert.
