Wioletta Agnieszka Bryg, who, along with her husband is owner of the Niebieski **** Hotel and is responsible for the Vanilla Spa, explains that, “First of all, I have to try each new cosmetic, and every treatment on my own skin, and I mean that literally, before I can recommend it to our guests.”

The Niebieski **** is a unique hotel. It is located right on the banks of the Vistula River. From the windows of its rooms, and from its Vanilla Sky restaurant stretches out a rich view of Wawel Castle spread out atop the hill at a bend in Poland’s greatest river. The hotel attracts not only tourists from around the world, but also many Krakovians. For these latter, the magnet is the wonderful restaurant, in which they may partake of family weekend dinners or larger celebratory occasions, and also the afore-mentioned spa facilities managed by Wioletta.

“We are greatly pleased with the popularity of our services both among hotel guests and among permanent residents of Krakow. But I must admit that there’s something special here that we weren’t even trying for. Our spa services developed along with the hotel and the needs of our clients. Hard work, attention to detail, and the smiles of the outstanding staff working in the spa, along with the quality and effectiveness of our treatments, lead clients to pass on the information about our services and encourage others to take advantage of them” Wioletta explains. The Vanilla SPA operates in accordance with the principles of a “slow” spa. Awaiting the client at the beginning is the relaxation zone. There, over a savory tea, one can take advantage of the sauna, or the ice fountain, calm oneself, leave the world and its problems outside, and focus on oneself. The character and intensity of the treatments are selected individually for each guest, after a specific conversation which helps to describe one’s needs precisely.

“We employ only natural methods, and cosmetics exclusively of top-notch quality” – Wioletta assures. “We also draw from the offerings of the best Polish cosmetics companies, MOKOSH and Nature Cosmetics. Thanks to these we can recommend treatments for firming and regenerating the skin. Both of these are accomplished at Vanilla Spa with the use of 98% snails’ secretions by which we achieve notable results – she adds.

Vanilla Spa has something for everyone. Of course there are treatments for the men of the family, but there are also treatments especially for children, and Wioletta’s nine-year-old son Mikołaj played an important role in preparing these treatments. Towards the end of our conversation Wioletta let slip the information about something new they are preparing. “In the first quarter of 2018 we will begin offering vegan treatments. I can’t talk about specifics right now except for one: I’ve been testing vegan cosmetics for a month. As always, on my own skin, ” she adds with a smile.

Hotel przyciąga nie tylko turystów z całego świata, ale także wielu krakowian.
