Best Served Gold („Złoto najwyższej próby”)
Szklane obiekty, które zrealizowałam w ramach projektu Best Served Gold, są efektem moich przemyśleń dotyczących współczesnego społeczeństwa. Chciałabym zwrócić uwagę na zagrożenia związane z rozwojem przemysłu spożywczego i wytwarzaniem plastikowych odpadów.
Co stanie się z opakowaniami z plastiku, które wyrzucam każdego dnia, choć mam świadomość, że będą „żyły” przez setki lat? Co tak naprawdę wkładam do ust, kiedy jem? Jak zjadana przez nas żywność wpłynie na nasze życie?
Szczypta czarnego humoru, słodkie różowe kolory i złoto… To mój autorski sposób na realizację surrealistycznych fantazji na temat tego, co może przynieść przyszłość.
Szkło łączę warstwowo z innymi materiałami, takimi jak farba, złoty liść, znalezione przedmioty, ceramika i cukier. W ten sposób buduję opowieść, która, mam nadzieję, zachęci widza do zmierzenia się z globalnymi problemami spowodowanymi działalnością człowieka.

Ukończyła studia magisterskie w Instituut voor Kunst en Ambacht w Mechelen, Belgia, 2016.
Brała udział w wystawach w Belgii, Holandii, Irlandii, Niemczech, Chinach oraz USA m.in.: Coburger Glaspreis, Europejskie Muzeum Współczesnego Szkła, Rödental, Niemcy, 2014; Glasmuseum Alter Hof Herding, Coesfeld, Niemcy, 2014, 2015; Play with Glass – European Glass Festival, Wrocław, 2016; Glass 4 Ever, Gorcums Museum, Gorinchem, Holandia, 2017–2018; New Glass Now, Corning Museum of Glass, USA, 2019–2020.
Jej prace znajdują się w kilku publicznych kolekcjach, m.in.: Kunstsammlungen der Veste Coburg, Europejskie Muzeum Współczesnego Szkła, Rödental; fundacja Ernsting Stiftung, Glasmuseum Alter Hof Herding, Coesfeld; Narodowe Muzeum Szkła, Leerdam, Holandia; Liling Ceramic Valley Museum, Liling, Chiny.
Pracuje w wielu technikach i z wykorzystaniem różnych materiałów. W swojej pracy inspiruje się wpływem globalizacji, mediów społecznościowych, migracji i GMO na życie współczesnego człowieka.
Lubi ćwiczyć jogę, tworzyć biżuterię z koralików, czytać i zajmować się renowacją swojego domu z lat 30. ubiegłego wieku.

Best Served Gold
The glass objects that I have completed as part of the Best Served Gold project are the result of my reflections on contemporary society. I would like to draw attention to the risks associated with the development of the food industry and the production of plastic waste with them.
What will happen to the plastic I throw away every day knowing that it will live for hundreds of years? And what do I really put in my mouth when I eat? Will the food we eat affect our lives?
A pinch of black humour, sweet pink colours and gold… This is my original way to realise surrealistic ideas and fantasies about what the future can bring,
I combine glass in layers with other materials such as paint, gold leaf, found objects, ceramics and sugar. In this way, I build a story that I hope will encourage the viewer to face the global problems caused by human activity.

She has participated in exhibitions in Belgium, China, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the USA, including: Glasrijk Tubbergen, Tubbergen, the Netherlands, 2013; the Coburg Prize for Contemporary Glass, the European Museum of Modern Glass, Rödental, Germany, 2014; the Glasmuseum Lette – Alter Hof Herding (the Ernsting Foundation), Coesfeld, Germany, 2014, 2015; Refract, Ireland, 2015; Play with Glass – European Glass Festival, Wrocław, 2016; Glass 4 Ever, the Gorcums Museum, Gorinchem, the Netherlands, 2017–2018; New Glass Now, the Corning Museum of Glass, USA, 2019–2020.
Her work is represented in a number of public collections, including: Kunstsammlungen der Veste Coburg, the European Museum of Modern Glass, Rödental; the Ernsting Foundation, Alter Hof Herding, Coesfeld; the National Glassmuseum, Leerdam, the Netherlands; the Liling Ceramic Valley Museum, Liling, Chiny.
She uses a wide range of glass techniques combined with mixed media. Her work is inspired by how modern people’s lives are influenced by globalisation, social media, migration and genetically modified organisms (GMO).
She loves exercising yoga, beading embroidery, reading and renovating her house from the 1930’s.
