He is known for his film and theatre compositions and has been repeatedly nominated for Golden Globes and Emmys. He will conduct the Beethoven Academy Orchestra during the opening of the 10th Film Music Festival to be held in the ICE.

Jan A.P. Kaczmarek will perform his Oscar-winning music for the film ‘Finding Neverland’, a film directed by Marc Forster and starring, amongst others, Kate Winslet and Johnny Depp, during the great anniversary ceremony of the Festival on 20 May.

The three-time Oscar winner for music (the soundtracks for ‘Midnight Express’, ‘Flashdance’ and ‘Top Gun’) Giorgio Moroder will lead the great jubilee dance party, which the organizers have decided will take place in the Square of Jan Nowak-Jeziorański in the city centre late in the evening of 19 May.
