Study the Polish language and the Polish culture at the Jagiellonian University

The Jagiellonian University, founded in 1346, is not only the oldest Polish University but also one of the oldest in Europe. Located in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe – historic Kraków – the university offers foreigners the chance to study both the Polish language and the Polish culture using different approaches, as well as Polish history and art, together with social, political and economic issues.
The Centre for Polish Language and Culture in the World is part of the Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University and offers both short and longer academic programmes related to the Polish language and Polish culture that are aimed specifically at foreigners:
– semestral
– annual
– intensive preparatory courses during the summer holidays for foreigners who plan to study in Poland

The single semester course: MY POLISH
The course is comprised of 60 academic hours of study of the Polish language. Subject matter of classes is of a general nature. All aspects of language (speech, reading, listening, and writing) are covered during classes, and vocabulary and knowledge of grammar are broadened. The program is structured to accommodate the interests and language level of the participants.
Beginning of program and placement tests: February 19, 2018
Program conclusion: June 22, 2018
Three intensive two-week Polish language courses within the structure of the program WINTER WITH POLISH LANGUAGE.
1st course: January 29 – February 9, 2018
2nd course: February 12-23, 2018
3rd course: February 26 – March 9, 2018
Each of the courses comprises 50 academic hours of study of the Polish language.

Studiuj język polski i kulturę polską w Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim

Uniwersytet Jagielloński, założony w 1364 roku, jest najstarszą polską uczelnią i należy do najstarszych w Europie. Zlokalizowany w jednym z najpiękniejszych miast Europy – zabytkowym Krakowie – Uniwersytet oferuje obcokrajowcom zróżnicowane formy studiowania języka i kultury polskiej, a także polskiej historii, sztuki, zagadnień społecznych, politycznych i ekonomicznych.
Centrum Języka i Kultury Polskiej w Świecie na wydziale Polonistyki UJ oferuje krótko- i długoterminowe akademickie programy języka i kultury polskiej dla obcokrajowców:
– semestralne
– roczne
– intensywne, wakacyjne kursy przygotowujące obcokrajowców do studiów w Polsce

Semestralny kurs MY POLISH
Kurs składa się z 60 godzin akademickich nauki języka polskiego. Zajęcia mają charakter ogólny. Podczas spotkań kształcone są wszystkie sprawności językowe (mówienie, czytanie, słuchanie i pisanie) oraz poszerzana jest znajomość gramatyki i słownictwa. Program dostosowywany jest do zainteresowań i poziomu językowego uczestników.

Zakończenie programu: 22 czerwca 2018
Trzy intensywne dwutygodniowe kursy języka polskiego w ramach programu ZIMA Z JĘZYKIEM POLSKIM.
I termin: 29 stycznia-9 lutego 2018
II termin: 12-23 lutego 2018
III termin: 26 lutego-9 marca 2018
Każdy z kursów składa się z 50 godzin akademickich nauki języka polskiego.
